KB-30A – Electric Horn

Description:

Unlike typical hailer horn units, the Kahlenberg KB-30A is a unique Electronic Horn/Hailing system for marine use that produces a horn signal in excess of 130 dB (1/3 Octave Band), certified to IMO requirements for vessels up to 75 meters in length. It also provides voice amplification and "talkback" function for communication between helm station and personnel on the exterior deck of the vessel. This hailer horn KB-30A System consists of two major components being the horn/driver unit and control/microphone unit. The KB-30A can also be used in combination with simple momentary push buttons such as Model M-313, or any Kahlenberg Signal Controller such as Model M-512 for automated signaling functions.
